In an ever-increasing digital world everyone needs to develop a mix of IT skills. In 2014 Somerset Digital Link was set to provide support sessions that enable people to do just this, to get online and move forward with confidence.

Volunteers are the heart of this project and without them Digital Link would not exist. Our close-knit team has been involved since the start, they really believe in what they’re achieving and get involved in every aspect of the service. As well as providing others with the skills to access digital technology they themselves are constantly learning new skills, such as team work, customer service, business and admin, information, advice and guidance and much, much more.

It’s a fantastic way to use your skills to offer something back to your community but you’ll also be developing and challenging yourself and boosting your own confidence.
